CATHGARRY COLLIES

Collies have always been the constant companions for us. At 5 years of age, my parents bought me a "Lassie Dog" and the lifelong dedication to a wonderful breed commenced.

In 1975 my husband and I purchased our first Collie (Rough), a sable and white dog - Tara Toledo. Early the next year, we bought a tri colour bitch - Paskay Dark Heather, these 2 Collies became the foundation of Cathgarry Collies.

The first litter bred under the "CATHGARRY" prefix produced - Cathgarry Lady Tramp CD, who attained 75 points towards her Championship title, before being desexed for health reasons. The highlight of Tramp's show career was Challenge Bitch at the Perth Royal Show under Mr Dangerfield from the United Kingdom.

Over the years we have exhibited quite a few dogs to showring, obedience, agility, trick dog and endurance test titles. Pride of place must go to:
